Cassidy Haley’s previous incarnation involved spearheading two design firms, Ernte Fashion Systems and Skingraft, which both achieved surprising success in both underground dance communities as well as the entertainment industry at large.
From dressing celebrities (the Black-eyed Peas, Nikki Manaj, Britney Spears, Steven Tyler, Pink, and more) to being carried in the best high-end boutiques around the world (Maxfied LA, Colette Paris, Barneys NY) he beat the odds by starting from scratch in his bedroom, twice, and catapulting into the fashion sphere, twice. However, he was never satisfied with just fashion and left both companies to pursue his first true love of music.
Leaving Ernte in 2004, he experimented with different bands and musical avenues but was unable to sustain himself or find the right project and so in 2005 he returned to fashion to form Skingraft. Three years later, the company was a success but his dreams of building a multi-media brand that could include his music and films were sadly not being fulfilled. So he left fashion for the second time to pursue his music.
Through the exposure brought by Skingraft among celebrities and their fans, his first EP reached #3 on the iTunes electronic charts and allowed him to work exclusively on music for three years. This was a very prolific and satisfying time, and yet he missed the strength that comes from a partnership and a solid company.
He yearned to integrate all his passions into one endeavour but could not do it alone…
Meanwhile Jillian Ann started modeling as a child and into her teens, which gave her a perspective far beyond the small, religious community of Georgia where she was raised. At 17 she left and soon was traveling the world from New York to Paris as a model and muse. However, like Cassidy, music was always her first love.
Her obsession with the arts, including music and fashion, inspired her first rise to fame as one of the worlds top fetish, fashion and avant garde models. She rose alongside others in the fetish world such as Dita Von Teese, creating a website which garnered between 5 and 20 million unique views a month on her own, building a powerhouse brand along the way.
All the while she made music in her spare time, focusing on electronica and releasing chart topping dance tracks. She was courted by the major labels but chose to forge her own path and remain true to her art, allowing modeling to support her in the same way Cassidy allowed fashion to support him.
Still, she yearned to integrate all her passions into one endeavour and could not do it alone…
RITUAL was founded by Cassidy Haley and Jillian Ann on an intimate journey home after a whirlwind adventure on the dawn of 2012.
Having recently consummated their friendship-turned-love-affair with the assistance of a pretty shaman boy in their bed, they witnessed the sunrise and dreamt of building a pan-sexual, heart-sacred, multi-media empire championing the new age of sexual and spiritual enlightenment through fashion, music, film (and any other art form they could find).
As they drove, they sketched designs that would liberate and indulge people’s deepest desires to express themselves. They hummed ideas for songs and sang of their greatest hopes for humanity. Almost a year later their visions became a reality when RITUAL was born.
Each seeking the other-half who would allow them to fulfill their dreams.
A love consummated under the stars and heavens by pure chance..or fate.
Somehow they found each other.
And the rest, as they say, is history.

Archan Nairs work is pretty mesmerising, with its vivid techno colours and out of this world imagery. Working from New Delphi, India he creates his work using mixed media and digital art and with a background in fashion we think he has a great eye for colour and pattern making. Archan’s portfolio is pretty extensive too and he has an impressive client list that includes Canon, Nike, Sony, Vogue, GQ and Vanity Fair.
Wild Animals Invade The Metro: Clarisse Rebotier
French photographer and Animals digital manipulator Clarisse Rebotier has produced a series of photos called Animétro. The series shows big game critters parading around the Paris Metro like they own it. I liked them so I thought I’d pass them on.
